It has made me the person I am today, from a girl that was shy and scared to interact with people from an outgoing helping person. I really thank my teacher Ms. Tadeo, is the best teacher any other AVID students could have, yes she might have been a little tough on us but because, she really wants us to be someone in life and learn new things. I look up to her because she is a hard working teacher and she has came a long way, she made me realize that we have to take chances and get help from educational programs that are open to us so we can become better students and achieve our goals and careers. Avid has taught me to be successful in life and never let yourself fall, interact with people, make a family of friends that will help you become successful in the future, make good decisions and achieve your goals. The Stepping Up Ceremony brought back many memories in avid. Thank you ]]><![CDATA[Speaker Reflection]]>Fri, 15 May 2015 20:00:53 GMThttp://brittany67.weebly.com/reflection/speaker-reflection A few days ago, we had a speaker who teached us about his dream goals as a kid and his job to this day. Our Guest Speaker was Mr. Diaz and he is an Artist and a Tech consultant at Hayward, California. I learned so much about him. Some things I learned were that he couldn't afford money for college, He didn't like Math, He'd doodle a lot in Math Class, Math was the only subject he struggled in and he didn't apply for scholarships. His advice will help me in the future because i will experience what he went through to get into a college, achieve his dreams and to put your mind and knowledge to your dream goals and you will achieve them.]]>
